Trouble Blades Inc. is a company that was born out of a desire to do better.. although there are some great high end tactical knives out there, we had something unique to offer the market. Our strive to perfection led us to being one of the top custom tactical knife manufacturers in the world. Tim Bakonyi took it upon himself to train as a bladesmith and built the company from the ground up, choosing every tool, material and component that goes into our knives to produce some of the most sought after designs available today..used and trusted in the hands of LEO, MILITARY, FIRE ,FBI ,ect.. and many other service people that depend on their gear in the harshest environments in the world . History is repeating itself and this kind of passion and attention to detail is now being applied to our quad frames. Years of experience working with carbon fiber, G10, titanium and aluminum gave us the hands on knowledge of materials needed to make THE RIGHT choices with our unique in the industry quasi-isotropic carbon fiber. In laymen's terms, this composite is much stronger than anything we've seen on the market today. It is made in such a way that there is no "grain" to the layers of carbon. Strength and rigidity in all directions means the unibody design yields a much stronger platform at a much lighter weight. There are some great frames on the market, and we have flown many of them ourselves. It is hard to argue against an X-frame having the best handling characteristics by balancing the quad's weight in all three axes. With that and the added speed that comes from less drag, we knew that X would be our starting point. Now, admittedly, you shouldn't put function before fashion, but there was no way our first frame was going to look like a skyscraper about to topple over, or a prophylactic with a camera sticking out. Looks count too right? So we built a sleek fuselage, like you are used to seeing in an H-frame design, and we trimmed and tweaked it until it was just the right size, creating almost no extra drag or prop-wash. It can house all the electronics pilots love to run and not force any compromises like smaller cameras or integrated pdb/fc/osd/esc/xyz blah blah blah. If you want to, that's totally cool, but we like our 1177s, 36mm flight boards and full size GoPro up top.
